Gas Fireplaces
Gas fireplaces are the most popular category of hearth appliance with the largest variety of sizes, styles, colors, and options. Among the wide variety of design styles available the fastest growing gas fireplace style is linear—the glass on linear fireplaces is wider and shorter than traditional fireplaces. Modern fireplaces are ideal for installation during new construction and remodeling projects as they can be installed directly onto a plywood base. Our gas fireplaces are direct vent—they use two-way vent pipe that has an outer and inner chamber to bring air into the firebox and take exhaust back out of the home; this means no air from the living environment is used in combustion and allows for the vent to terminate horizontally. The input rating on gas fireplaces ranges from about 20,000-60,000 BTU/hour. Modern gas fireplaces are a capable and efficient source of supplemental heat, perfect for Zone Heating applications. As with all hearth appliances the ceramic glass window on the front radiates the largest percentage of heat into the room but additional heat is available from a heat-circulating blower system.
